Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the latest announcement by Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday evening, all events at Neuadd Dwyfor have been postponed or cancelled for the time being.
We are aware that many of our users will be disappointed but we hope that you understand the situation and the dangers relating to congregating in public areas.
The Box Office team will be contacting customers who have purchased tickets for events.
We are hoping to refund orders within the next few days.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience at this time. Pwllheli Library will remain open as usual at present with arrangements being reviewed daily.
Neuadd Dwyfor is a multi-purpose Arts Centre situated in the middle of Pwllheli Market Town. The building houses a 354 seat auditorium with a stage as well as a cinema screen and is the home of Pwllheli Library.
The building was built in 1900 as Pwllheli Town and Market Hall, has been used as a Theatre since 1902 and as a Cinema since 1911.
Today, a wide variety of live performances take place on the stage including Drama, Opera, Dance, Live Music, Comedy and Pantomime from local, national and international companies.
In addition, we show an eclectic program of films including new releases, live broadcasts from the National Theatre Live, The Bolshoi Ballet and The Royal Shakespeare Company as well as Independent Films. In 2014 we welcomed Pwllheli Film Club “Point of Film” to join our program and are pleased to show a classic feature film every month.
